"Anything the competition can do, we can do better." Scott Kinnear isn't one to boast. He's stating fact as he launches the third week in business for SR Kinnear, Inc., Dayton, Ohio's newest RTO store.
"The strength of our store is its flexibility to help customers get what they need and make it so they get good service," he says. He can do that because as a store owner and affiliate of Premier Rental-Purchase he has access to a wider selection of quality products. He can react faster to customer needs without the frustrating delays inherent in a chain of command. For Scott, this is the ultimate scenario for customer service.
An RTO manager with over a decade of experience with another company, Scott began looking for a chance to own his own store two years ago. He had heard about others stepping out on their own and after looking into it, "believed it was possible for me to do it."
He learned about Premier from associates - learned that through Premier he could start his own RTO store with the necessary vendors and the type of start-up business support right at hand.
"They make it easy to get started and to be in business. Instead of 20 calls, I can make one call and get in touch with the right people."
Having spent the last 10 years in Dayton, he knows his customers, and they are tracking him down in his new setting. "We advertised. A lot of people saw my picture and have called. I look forward to rekindling business with customers." And they with him. Scott has worked hard over the years to build "long-term relationships with people. They bring in referrals and friends, their children, and even grandchildren." His creed: Treat customers with respect.
